Honeywell names aero-dienst an authorized maintenance provider for HTF7000 engine nacelles

Collaboration expands Honeywell's service capabilities for business jets operating HTF7000 series engines in EMEAI

Honeywell announced Aero-Dienstas a certified maintenance provider for the HTF7000 turbofan engine nacelle system. This authorization strengthens Honeywell’s service network in the Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India (EMEAI) region, offering operators of HTF7000-powered business jets increased access to qualified maintenance.

With this collaboration, Aero-Dienst is officially approved to perform a variety of maintenance tasks of HTF7000 series engine nacelle system. This includes the simple removal and return of the thrust reverser, inlet or other nacelle components; inspection for defects or corrosion of the nacelle system; removal and replacement of defective parts; and the use of Mapaero, an improved protective coating with anti-corrosive properties.

“Whether it’s by reducing maintenance costs, or helping improve fuel efficiency, we’re always exploring new ways to deliver enhanced value to our customers. This agreement with Aero-Dienst underscores Honeywell’s focus on providing comprehensive solutions to our business aviation customers in EMEAI,” said Flavio Michio Osanai, EMEAI Vice President of Sales, Business & General Aviation, Honeywell Aerospace Technologies. “By expanding our network of authorized maintenance providers, we aim to improve service accessibility and efficiency for operators and ultimately ensure optimal performance and reliability for their aircraft.”

Having surpassed over 10 million flight hours, the HTF7000 family of engines provides unmatched reliability, adaptability, and low maintenance costs for business aviation operators. It also enables engine inspection and standard maintenance to be performed directly on-wing, reducing costly downtime. In addition, key line-replaceable units can be quickly and easily changed with industry-common tools, while its engine is designed to increase fuel efficiency in support of Honeywell’s alignment of its portfolio to three powerful megatrends, including the future of aviation.

“We are pleased to extend our range of services on the Honeywell HTF platform and nacelle system with the quality and service our customers have come to expect from Aero Dienst,” says Florian Heinzelmann, Head of Maintenance Aero-Dienst.
